Durgun Model 38 Universal Dispensing Gun

Throw away those rusty old "skeleton" guns, this is the only caulk/silicone gun you will ever need. Unlike normal guns where the specific length gun is required to accept the tube, the Durgun takes all standard diameter tubes from 200 - 600mm (8 - 22") in length.
So far so good but now you get the real clever bit...this gun has a full reverse action mechanism. Apply the reverse trigger and it sucks back the caulk/silicone stopping the run dead in its tracks, meaning no more mess or waste.
The Durgun actually grips the plunger found inside every standard tube. With this gripped, you can easily extract them when the tubes are spent, and re-fill them with whatever you like. Fill it with grout and you have yourself a grouting gun or mortar (mixed with a fine sand and plasticicer) and you can do your pointing with this clever gun. With an empty tube fitted you can even fill the cartridges up with wood glue (or similar substances) by sucking this straight up, using the reverse trigger.
The applications for this gun are virtually limitless. Some users have reported using them for clay moulding, fishing baits, making fertiliser pellets etc...etc...etc. Do tell us if you find any new novel uses!
For specialised applications adaptors are also available for flexible "sausage" packs and "PRC" Semco style two part mix tubes.

The unique design permits a whole range of products to be applied in a controlled manner and eliminates that wasteful drips or seepage by incorporating a reversing mechanism to withdraw any surplus compound or fluid, thereby providing total control to the operator. The Universal Gun can also be effectively utilised to inject or extract viscous fluids from difficult locations. All the components of the DURGUN are designed to provide a quality product with a long and economic life span, with the added advantage of having inherent component replace-ability in the event of damage to the gun. The uniquely designed DURGUN has widespread application in a number of industries, for the professional and the DIY User. Fitting and operating instructions are also provided with each gun to ensure its effective application for the user. It operates with a maximum operating pressure in excess of 560psi (38 bar). The DURGUN can also be adapted by an innovative modification to inject single or two part resins, with mixing being undertaken in the gun’s barrel and nozzles helix insert to provide an efficient applicator.
